Luck wanted to hang out with his friend Missy, Missy was a strange girl but this was not a problem. She liked ducks, ALOT. As such she lived in her own wonderland of ducks constructed using what Luck sometimes called portal technology or a more realistic virtuality in some cases. This is Missy:
As stated Missy lives in a duck wonderland, where things are designed to increase the likelihood of ducks, this means their is water and food and plants that ducks enjoy. Thus the home of Missy is highly advantageous towards ducks, but also well suited for her own living space. It should also be noted that in general the area is also healthy for ducks and keeps predators away from the ducks.
Thus important features of this place include:
An ecosystem of variety of nutrition for the ducks, but limited as per amounts of interested ducks, which is cared for by Missy, who also provides visits and tours to her duck utopia. It should also be noted that not only is Missy caring for the ducks food, but also their health as she is a trained duck vet. Other animals are unable to enter the duck lands because they must match both size, acceptable color of beak and sound to enter the duck lands. Human poachers cannot enter as they must check their guns if at all at entry and remain in designated locations ( if they do not an alert is sounded ). The ducks entry is also on the roof of the many chambered duck lands. Missy works here with others and their sole focus truly is the duck.
Missy represents the concept of Pressure, because she believes that animals and men are put under pressure at times and that one important goal of life is to relieve the pressure of others. Such that they can better live comfortably. This is why her lands are sanctuaries for ducks, which are its focus of aid to those pressures.
It is thus important for Missy that issues of risk and pressure be relieved!
Luck and Missy however, have also noted that this same concept is applied in many ways across the world, which to Luck is defined by parts. Parts create environmental space and space in turn creates its environment. Thus it is actually in the variety of pressures and points of focus that things real can be made.
As an example, Luck will describe how the function of the virtual reality in his story that he wrote, specifically the act of destruction by Mazer, which was not as realistic in manifestation as the other acts in the story. ( Because it was virtual ) It's nature was artificial to the concept imagined for the sake of Mazer's destructive desires.
As such this is what actually occurred under the surface, which related to the simulation.
When Mazer released the Shoggoth and it collapsed the city and the worms devoured people, a bunch of light foam blocks was dropped on the people and these foam blocks had worm like attachments to them that were felt and did little effect beyond an optional pinch. As such Mazer was stationed in the pinch section while others ( like Hilisa ) took to the less painful version.
Other examples of artificiality in the systems of virtual reality used, included goggles with camera's to track the virtual aspects of the reality and cover any slight of hand tricks used.
The part with the fire involved the members who went into it and took a simple shower of hot water, at an acceptable temperature between painful and not harmful.
None the less, Luck leaves the rest to the imagination. As such Luck calls these two examples, examples of the construction of specially designed spaces which create potential abilities beyond those found in other spaces.
