Sugu is of other Faith!

Pharath departed from winter towards spring, a nearby land where dwellt cupids and other humans who beleived other things, other then Pharaths more stricked moral structure. He needed to pass through spring to get to the edge of his land and reach the dwelling place of the red dragon.

In spring he met Sugu:

Who was pleased to meet him and told him about her part of the world, she was also curious where he was going.

She explained that their beleifs were similar but that in her worldview gays were permitted, yet everyone was forbidden sex before marriage! They also practiced magic unlike Pharaths world of gift giving and only kindness. As such Pharath was somewhat culture shocked but not overly offended.

Sugu explained the different parts of her view, that were of interest:

Their were three vital parts and one greater cosmology to go along with it! The first was divination, the second spellworks and the third was the middle cross solver! Their was also the cosmology of the causam, which related to the world and the body.

Pharath wanted to know more and thus she explained each in detail:

We take these special meanings, which were written by ourselves as a personal touch and then combine the meanings in role of dice for resultant sentences that lead to a potential future. However, unlike some other places in this world, we don't necessarily stick with the predicted future, if we feel it isn't desired. Instead we try to change our future from potential risks!

Magic is done similarly, we use our basic word meanings to enspire ideas of what to cast then we create symbolic drawings that we soak in water and then drink, in doing so we create the force to make it manifest in the material realm and this is related to the causam aswell!

Finally, we use the middle cross to solve potential issues in life, its a little complicated so I'll show you with an example:

She drew the above drawing then explained that the bottom part is the problem, then following from below the middle line to the right and back again over the line, takes the desire, the potential, the limitation, the solution, the how of and then the what to the result. As such its order would be:

Invasive insects and the desire to remove them, they could use pesticides but its rude, so they decide to feed them instead and they do this by using a portion of the plants they have and thus share with the insects.

Then Sugu explained that the causam was a theory of her people that the human body was its soul residing in itself and thus reality was an almalgamtion of the bodies of all people, which is how the body effected magic. What Sugu could not say was more information because her people were limited in scientists due to the disinterest in faith!

Pharath enjoyed learning about this middle cross and thought that it could be useful for his quest, so he asked if Sugu wanted to come along and she asked why, when learning of why she then asked what the red dragon was and wanted. Pharath explained:

The red dragon, also called Malum is as an inversion of everything you and I hold dear! It cares not for love and it cares not for respect. As such it hopes to defeat the world with violence and destruction and must be stopped!

Sugu grew concerned and decided to come along. She brought with her her fortunes telling, her magic and a few middle cross sheets for the way!

Thus Sugu and Pharath continued on the journey to the next land!
